- Teenager Aneta Brodski, an immigrant from an Israeli all-deaf family now living in New York City, prepares to compete in a spoken-word poetry slam using American Sign Language and meets Tahani Salah, a Palestinian spoken word poet. They collaborate on performances that combine oral and signed poetry and help integrate the deaf and hearing communities.
