After returning from a sick leave to get treated for depression, Sandra (played by Marion Cotillard) discovers that her working-class co-workers had voted to eliminate her job so that they could receive annual bonuses from their Belgian factory, and she decides to spend the weekend visiting each one in an attempt to convince them to change their minds.
