- Filmmaker M. T. Silvia questions her mother, Pauline Silvia, about her work as a biologist in the U.S. Navy at the Nevada Test Site, where she took part in atomic bomb detonations, and her later experiments with radiation on animals. M. T. also travels to Japan to interview Emiko Okada, a survivor of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima who advocates for disarmament.
