- Follows Andy and Cherry, both born under the Chinese one-child policy, as they try to please their parents while remaining true to their identities. Andy is gay but is pressured to marry a woman, so he goes to matchmaking events in Shanghai where gays and lesbians can meet partners for sham man-woman marriages. Cherry is ending her marriage of convenience to a man but agrees to adopt a baby to appease her elders.
